Quickutz, Card

SATURDAY POST- Yea, It's the weekend!!

Here's a card I made a few months ago using my NEW (at the time) Quickutz die cuts. One of the many reasons why I HAD to buy the Quickutz squeeze tool~ the dies are the perfect size for cards! I made this one for my BFF (shout out to B.G. Figgy). The downside to using Quickutz is -it took awhile to punch everything out... on top of that, I wanted to try a different style card with punched windows and tri-folds! So, this took an afternoon to figure out and complete. But, I am very pleased with the final card. Said BFF favorite color combo is Pink and orange:

Inside, 1st pg... Inside, back page (punch-out window!!)

I got onto the Quickutz band wagon towards the end of the fad. It was something I watched & admired for YEARS! When QVC featured it as a TSV I bought it quickly and was so excited to FINALLY have one! Then, 6 months later the Cricut was introduced! OMG! My sister got one right away, talked about all the special things it did and I got one for my Birthday. Now my Quickutz is rarely used and I'm considering getting the BIG bug to compliment my (almost duplicate) baby bug. There seems to always be something new and better coming out! I hope I get more use out of it all than I have from my Quickutz! But, I want to add that my Quickutz does travel with me when I do not want to bother tote-n the baby bug!! Each has a purpose! ;P

Enjoy your weekend! Thanks for checking out my blog! Post a message so I know you've been here :)
