The next few days will be busy for me and I may be out of card-making-commission for the next few days... I don't want to disappoint anyone who is following my daily card postings! Thus I am typing this post on Tuesday and scheduling it to post on Wednesday! hehehehe... cute me!! :)
Here is a card I created almost a year ago today! It is a Stampin Up! stamp set with unknown patterned paper. The image is stamped in regular black ink on white card stock. Then on top of the image I traced the outline of the plastic tile shape. Then colored in with regular colored pencils underneath where the tile sits. Xyron the plastic tile and adhered it ontop of the colored parts. This is a neat technique and finding this scan reminds me that I need to make more cards using this technique!
I purchased the tiles at a local stamp show. Each tile is a different shape and comes in different sizes. The booth selling them said they were left over scraps from her husbands garage projects! What a cleaver way to re-cycle!
