SUNDAY Card Post~Who doesn't love a bird wearing a crown, swirls AND Bling!!!?! Another fun moment in front of my sewing machine! If only to stitch one single line, it was worth it!
Recipe: Stampin Up! Cardstock (Always Artichoke, Certainly Celery, Brocade Blue & Bashful Blue). Stampin Up! Chalks, Stampin Up! Craft Ink (Certainly Celery & Brilliant blue), Cricut Cartridge (Celebrate), Bazzill Bling cardstock, Autumn Leaves Acrylic Bird Stamp, Stampin Up! stamp set "polka dot & paisley", Heidi Swapp bling, making memories polka dot ribbon. Versa Mark Ink Pad.
I just LOVE how the bird came out! I inked the top w/ the celery and bottom with the Blue and the two really blended well! Also, I added the background stamp dots onto the celery cardstock with versa mark. I have found that I really enjoy stamping backgrounds onto solid cardstock. Reminds me of a home made "Bazzill Prima" cardstock paper!! Much cheaper to make it your self! Also, I chalked the white paper folds with blue chalk because the white looked too stark for my tastes. I tend to prefer distressed edges!
