Happy Tuesday! This week is off to a good start. I hope you are all doing well! Today let’s talk about a stamped ONLY card! LOL, no matting & no ribbon! However, the image is stamped on glimmer paper and Bazzil Bling with a little added Stickles and one Rhinestone to accent Mr. Bird!
Recipe: Bazzil Bling Blue Card stock, The Paper Company “Metallic Iced White” paper, Ink: Versa Color (Peony & Sky Blue); Stickles, Acrylic Stamp bird is from an Inkabilities stamp set & greeting stamp is Hero Arts (from the clearance section in my LSS 75% off! Luv it!)
The inspiration for this card came from a card demo at my LSS. I pretty much copied it as is. Took awhile for me to gather all the ingredients for this card. I first tried to stamp it with similar colors from the Stampin Up! Collection but couldn’t achieve the soft colors in the swirl overlays. Also, I intended to stamp it onto regular white cardstock but it just didn’t fit the delicacy of the design so ~ back to LSS to buy metallic paper. I am surprised that the metallic paper didn’t stamp any different than regular cs… thought it would take forever to dry on it, luckily it didn’t!
This card shimmers and shines on the papers and the blingety-bling-bling!! I made several of these cards using different sentiments but the font in the Hero Arts sentiment
“Friends Always” is the prettiest by far! TFL
