Sizzix Decorative Strips, Fave

Yes, I have the red not the NEW cute pink one (maybe I'll spray-paint it pink!)...How did I forget about another one of my favorite Expo Day purchases?! I won this little guy at the beginning of the year from the Notorious Scrap-a-holic Scrapbook Retreat. I have quite a few dies for it- however I haven't used the tag-along yet (I use the bigger sizzix my sister gave me years ago)!!
Well, this past weekend I found another reason for me to pull it out of my craft closet and unwrap it from its packaging.... Sizzlit Decorative STRIPS!! Saw them demo'd at Archivers and promptly purchased a font strip! Why purchase more fonts? I mean I have plenty of die cut machines (cricut, expression, quickutz, zaz roller, sizzlit biggie & sizzlit tag-along) to choose from including stickers, stamps, templates and my very own hand writing!! Only a true crafting heart/spirit will understand my thinking!! LOL, A girl NEEDS variety for a creative mojo flow!

So, my thinking on these decorative strips, I NEED MORE, MORE, MORE!! Yes, the fonts are small BUT so are Quickutz and most stickers! Yes, you have to cut more than one time if you need more than one of the same letter. BUT, decorative strips are inexpensive come in various designs and fonts, easy to carry, easy to store, take up little space AND are only ONE piece! When crafting away from home it is difficult and cumbersome to carry extra bags and folders- and for you sizzix people you know the full font sets come with 38 dies! Not an easy thing to carry with! That's why I endorse Sizzlit Decorative Strips! :) Buy yours today! :P

Hey Julia! I agree with you. I have one of the decorative alphabet strips, Hunky Dory, and I used it for my mini album for St Augustine trip. It is the perfect size for a small album. It is great for using up scraps too and keep in mind you can just put paper over the letters you need to cut out. I love it!
