Stickles & Stickers, card

One of the easiest type of card to make is the Stickles & Sticker Card. The hardest thing to do is wait for the stickles to dry! Add your "scor-it" tool to create dry embossed lines which accent your stickled stickers and -WA-La- impressive and totally handmade! Take a peek at one of my first cards with this technique (I plan on making more of this card type to demonstrate some different options for "scor-it" dry embossing):
Unfortunately, the scan does not show the dry embossed "scor-it" lines (the lines create a square similar to #) very well. Cardstock is Bazzill Bling, double matting on the sticker- cardstock for matting is Stampin Up!, of course stickles & a water color style sticker.
Check out my Stickles stash! I am addicted (My DH may force me to attend Stickles rehab soon!) and I so plan on adding to my rainbow of colors! Also, the stickers are: "Stickeroos, Penny Black" which are Acid-free, Lignin-free (Wherever they growl, Hearts and Flowers & Flower Gallery)". And, for those of you not familiar with Stickles- (another acid free product) it is a liquid glue like substance with glitter (comes in lots and lots of colors). I like to apply it sparingly so it drys quicker and lays flat on the top of the image. If you squeeze a lot on you can create a cost effective "bling" stud dot. Again, be on the look out for some more post examples of this type of card in the near future!
