Just One More Page, Bookmark

Here's a bookmark highlighting a few fun techniques I haven't done in awhile! I got to pull out my Stampin Up! chalks and my heat gun! I hope the scan is as pretty as the it is IRL.

Recipe: Stampin Up! Card stock (Basic black, Whisper white & Taken With Teal), Chalks, Versa Mark, White embossing powder & heat gun. Krylon Fixatif spray.
Stamp the image with Stampin Up! Versa mark ink, sprinkle with white embossing powder. Once the embossing powder turns slick & raised, but NOT flat, stop heating the powder!! With chalks and a good ole fashion cotton ball, I adhered the chalks on top of the flower embossed image. I had to work it around a little to get the soft look. And, IRL the colors are brighter than in the scan (which looks like the green stands out, but it really doesn't.) Matt the white on top of black card stock then matt that on top of the "Taken With Teal" card stock; leave a larger edge on the bottom where you will stamp your phrase, in my case: " Just one more page". Spray with Fixatif to set the chalk. I don't know if the fixatif is really necessary, but I did it just to make it last a little longer and ensure the chalk wouldn't run or disappear over time.
