2011 Christmas Card

OMG, Christmas is ALMOST here! Our tree is up, lights are on, stockings are hung, cookies are baked... gifts need to be wrapped. LOL, there's always something to be done. But, we are making great progress my crafty peeps, aren't we?! :))

A year ago, before we knew that we would even have our son home with us, I fell in love with this Snowman stamp set. I picked it up at my local stamp convention. And, with all the excitement and ever growing "to-do" list (that I talk about almost every blog post) I almost did NOT hand make our Christmas Cards this year. But, I told myself this, of all years, I need to make a handmade card. We have so much to be thankful for; we have been Blessed!
Once I made the decision to hand make our Christmas cards I went all out in coloring, glittering & embellishing them. Never before had I been willing to heat emboss so many cards!! Several weeks went into completing the cards & envelopes. It may very well be the last hand made card I do for Christmas. Hmmm...I guess the saying is, "Never, say never!"
