Hinged Card

This is one of the projects I put together for my Stampin' Up! Hostess club meeting in April. The technique we played with was "watercoloring". I did a bit of research for the technique to refresh my memory! It has been awhile since I've played with it myself. And, I'm in awe of the color medium options! There's watercolor crayons, watercolor paint, watercolor pencils, watercoloring with reinkers...use a blender pen, a water brush, or the good ole' stand by water and paint brush! With so many options I had to focus so the class wouldn't be all over the place.

Since Stampin' Sells the crayons and watercolor pencils that is what I created the class around. One project using crayons (which I will share later) and this one using water color pencils.

Card Front

The picture doesn't show the versa mark design ontop of the celery cs...but if you look closely you maybe able to notice the soft design.
Hinged

Wouldn't this card be cute as a holiday card or Birthday card? I'll be making some of those in the future for sure! It was easy and made a unique card!!

I found that using pencils on a smaller detailed image was much easier than worrying about keeping a big crayon with in the lines! Which is why this card called for pencils!
