Sips n Strokes, picture

Are you familiar with "Sips n Strokes"? Our nearest location is in East Cobb, GA. Connie introduced me to this FUN place! And, if you haven't been you should check it out! Every month they offer your choice of pictures to choose from. I have participated in two classes. And, my most recent was the "Funky Tree" picture. I hope this link works...check out the original picture we were "copying" and then see my pitiful picture below...LOL




The idea behind the evening is to receive instruction on how to paint the picture of the night. Of course, your own creativity is encouraged. I made it my own by making the sky a sunset. But, the original shows an orange sky. Everyone is the class ends up with a similar picture but all are very different in their own right.

The first class I took was the abstract "Tulip". I found it easier because it wasn't supposed to really look like anything-hence abstract. It is hard to be disappointed in "abstract"
