Way back when I used to just put all my ribbon yards into a zip lock bag. It suited me fine until my collection got really big- then it got hard to really see what I had on hand! I saw someone on 2peas who created one of these with a make up bag and their crop-a-dile. And, about that time Pull-ezz was coming out with a similar design. I though I could make one cheaper than the Pull-ezz product (Approx. $19) but finding my own plastic make up bag. So, started my search for an inexpensive plastic bag. Found mine at target.
People always ask me if the ribbon gets tangled, and so far my answer is no. Also, I store this little guy on the handle of my rolling bag- a perfect fit!
To get the holes at the bottom of the bag all I did was make a fold and punch two rows at a time. I totally made too many holes - there's no way this bag would hold as much ribbon as there are holes. live and learn! ;)
