NSD WEEKEND, Scrapbooking

In honor of National Scrap booking Weekend I got my "scrap booking on" (yes, it is a real holiday, LOL)! Over 14 hours of scrap booking with the posse' and only 4 Lo's completed (& 2 make-n-takes), lots of shopping and swollen feet! :) Ahhhh...the joys of this hobby!

Of the LO's completed this one is my fave. It's a pic of Sierra Madre as she fell asleep in Matt's yoga crossed legs. Her belly protruded over the sides of her rib cage and just begged to be rubbed. For the LO I spent quite a bit of time on the cs drawing the black and white edge- using a ruler to make the lines straight. Also, doodled on the black frame and then free hand cut the scallops around the doodles. Using the "Walk in my Garden" cricut cartridge I cut out white flowers then doodled on top of them. I just adore the LO- the combo of the cute pictures and the doodling just gives me the giggles when I look at it! It was truly a fun LO to make.

1.)NEW Elsie Flannigan Recipe Idea Box. I pondered purchasing it for about an hour. Ultimately I decided to get it because there were only 2 left in the store.
