January Card Swap, Card

Hello again friends! I am so behind on my crafty blog. This new year started out with a bang and it was off to the races! I've been so busy, very busy crafting & completing my "to do" list. But, what I obviously haven't been doing is posting on my blogs. However, I did manage to take pics the other day and here I am, FINALLY sharing with all my wornderful blog friends!

Our January Card Swap theme was "Polka Dots & Stripes". What a cool theme! I always wonder why I never come up with such great themes for card swap! LOL, I wanted to use the SU hot air balloon stamp set. Because it has been a favorite of mine ever since eye spied it. I pulled it out and got to making two different cards. The one I decided to ultimately recreate was the grey, purple, green card bellow. I love the color combination. It is so different than what I usually trend towards. So the card was fun for me to make on those two accounts.





I noticed that I tend to make cards when I am at home. However, lately I have had a good "run" of scrapbooking in my craft room. And, I have been busy reorganizing my craft space.
