My focus with scrapbooking has certainly shifted to our recent trip to China. And, with over 1,500 printed pictures I feel the pressure to get them in albums. Now I struggle with the day to day events, holidays, celebrations - right now I have not printed a single picture since we've been home from China. Zachary's birthday occurred a few days ago. I think to myself is it better to keep up with current events rather than a trip that happened 3 short months ago? Well, I am keeping up with taking pictures but I'm still working through scraping those China pictures. I am not sure how much longer I will stay on this track. I just don't want Zachary to be 20 years old before I scrap a layout of his 2nd birthday party! But, then maybe that will always be the deli ma for any scrapbooker.
Along that same vein of a scrapbookers deli ma...I have been scrapbooking China in order of the trip. Starting with our arrival, working through Beijing (I'll be sbing Beinjing for a long time, since we were there for 2weeks). But, then I yearned to scrap layouts of certain special events. Thus, I began grabbing the pictures of locations/events that I felt drawn to. My Mojo seemed to work best this way! Out of order, but still in Beijing, my most recent LO's are of The Beautiful Summer Palace. One of my favorite excursions.
This picture was actually taken in the hotel room in Guangzhou. I love Zachary's smile! He was coming out of his shell and showing his personality

Glad you finally had time to get those scrapped pages on your blog! Somehow I do the same thing with my cards that I make, never put them up to show...weird, huh!
Those are super cute layouts....I love the Beautiful Day scene.
